We offer year round cabin rental in Rockwood Maine, which is in the heart of the Moosehead Lake area. This area is well known for hunting, fishing, ice fishing, snowmobiling, Atving and moose watching. Ride the endless miles of trails on your snowmobile or ATV right from your cabin.
Moosehead Lake is well known for its salmon, brook trout and lake trout fisheries and the public boat launch is 1/4 mile from camp. Ride the snowmobile trail to the lake for a day of ice fishing.
In the summer months, hike one of the many hiking trails in the area as well as the popular, Mount Kineo. In the summer months, take the ferry over to Mount Kineo and play a round of golf.
In the summer and fall months, ride the road by camp in the early morning or evenings watching for moose, as the moose are plentiful in this area.

Accommodations
We have four identical cabins that are equipped with all the amenities of home. Including: free Wi-Fi, smart TV, Keurig coffee maker, microwave, and a fully stocked kitchen with all linens and bedding. There is an outdoor fire pit out on the back lawn.
No housekeeping during stay, 6 hand towels and bath towels provided. Have a dog? No worries, we are dog friendly for a small fee.
Each cabin has 3 bedrooms that can accommodate up to 6 people, with an eat in kitchen and living room. Each cabin also has 1 full bath with bathtub, towels for 6 , hand towels and toilet paper
Each cabin has three bedrooms: 2 bedrooms have full sized beds and 1 bedroom has a bunkbed with full on bottom and a twin on top. There is a couch in each cabin that folds out into a bed.

Hey everyone, Thank you for checking us out. We have been doing some major updates. We have installed heat pumps in each of the cabins. The heat pumps work as an air conditioning unit during the hot summer months and also gives off heat during the cool fall nights.
We just recently completed our biggest project yet and this was our biggest priority after buying the cabins. We had a new, top of the line water filtration system installed. Anyone that has stayed in these cabins in the past, knows that the water does have a sulfur odor smell to it. We were not satisfied at all with the water and didn't want our customers to have to experience the horrible smell of sulfur. So I reached out and talked to a water specialist company and the company recently installed 3 large electronic filtration tanks. Let me tell you this, the system was well worth every penny spent, there is no more smell or hard water. We are very impressed with the water system and I think our future customers will be too.
This past spring, Cabin 1 and Cabin 2 both received a complete update on the inside, the inside of both camps received fresh pain as well. We went through both camps completely. All 4 camps went through deep cleaning on the inside. This fall, Cabin 3 and Cabin 4 will be going through complete updates as well as fresh paint.
Our next big project we will be doing this fall is installing a metal roof on all the camps. Also this fall, we will be upgrading the interior of the camps.
